Mono Connect's real-time data feature

We’re excited to share the real-time data feature is now available on Mono Connect. This feature enables you to seamlessly access real-time financial data from connected customer accounts.

How it works

To activate this feature, partners can add x-realtime in their API header for endpoints like accounts, transactions, and statements.

1. If persistence access is available for the linked account, we will retrieve new data. Otherwise, re-authorization is requested from the user.

2. A cost of N10 or 0.0013 cents in USD is charged per real-time API call, with a N5 re-authorization fee.

Driver’s License Lookup is live

We've shipped an additional endpoint to our Mono Lookup API suite - the Driver’s License Lookup. This endpoint allows you to securely retrieve and verify users' identity information using their driver's license number.

Refunds is now on the Mono Dashboard

We have added a new feature on the dashboard to enable our partners to streamline the refund process. Starting now, partners can process both partial and full payment refunds directly from their Mono dashboard. Here's how it works:

1. Initiating a Refund: Partners can initiate a refund from either the Transactions tab or the transaction details page of a successful transaction.

   

2. Refund Amount and Reason: When initiating a refund, partners can specify the refund amount and select the reason for the refund.

   

3. Selecting Refund Source: Partners have the flexibility to choose the source for the refund. They can opt to refund from their Mono wallet or their pending payout balance, depending on their funds and preferences.

   

4. Processing the Refund: Once the necessary information is provided, the refunded amount is then successfully credited back to the customer's payment account.
